Mission Statement: A Spirit-led people gathered to care for and empower each other by stewarding God’s resources to impact our community for Christ

The culmination of our existence is to impact our community for Christ. We are the sent agents of God into world. We are on mission to do God’s work in the world by . . .

Evangelizing our World

God desires that all people be reconciled to Himself. Jesus’ work on the cross provides forgiveness of sins, this is the gospel (the good news). We are called to proclaim this message to the world. Through relationships, we are called to share this good news.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt 28:19–20 NIV)

Pursuing Social Justice

God’s desire is that the world would be made right. Participating in God’s redeeming work requires us to engage the social injustices of our world.

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Mic 6:8 NIV)

We are called to engage areas of injustice in our world. Those who are suffering the effects of poverty and racism are all around us. We are called to step into those places with the love of Christ.

Caring for Creation

God created all things and calls us to care for His creation.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Gen 1:28 NIV)

God is in the process of restoring all creation. We join him as we care for our environment.

19) The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20) For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21) that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22) We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (Rom 8:19–22 NIV)

Transforming our Culture

God is transforming all areas of culture. As we live in our community, we are called to be salt and light. We are doctors, waitresses, factory workers, school teachers, nurses, beauticians, businessmen, trainers, secretaries, counselors, and more. God works through us to do his work in the world.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. 2) Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom 12:1–2 NIV)
