Mission Statement: A Spirit-led people gathered to care for and empower each other by stewarding God’s resources to impact our community for Christ
All that we have is God’s. It has been entrusted to us for His purposes. We are called to utilize these resources for the building of His Kingdom.
The resources that God has entrusted to the church are:
Creation, Spiritual Gifts, People, Property, Time, Technology, Money
We are called to carefully discern the management of these resources.
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; (Psa 24:1 NIV) offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. (Rom 12:1 NIV)
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20) But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. (Matt 6:19–20 NIV)
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7) Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8) And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Cor 9:6–8 NIV)
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2) and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Eph 5:1 NIV) And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Heb 13:16 NIV)
If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18) Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (1 John 3:17–18 NIV)
And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. (Matt 5:40 NIV)
