Mission Statement: A Spirit-led people gathered to care for and empower each other by stewarding God’s resources to impact our community for Christ
We completed a sermon series on our mission statement in February 2012. Take a few minutes to watch the videos to understand more about our mission.
We are called to care for one another
Because God has loved us, we are called to love one another
If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. (1 John 4:20 NIV) When we are hurting, we share in each other’s pain
3) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4) who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. (2 Cor 1:3–4 NIV)
When we are struggling, we lift each other up.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Gal 6:2 NIV)
When God makes us strong, we share our strength with each other
I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one. (1 John 2:14 NIV)
When we falter, we serve as accountable agents to each other
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Heb 10:24 NIV)
