First Time Visit

First time at First Baptist?

We are glad that you have decided to visit First Baptist. You might find this information helpful.

What do I wear?

The short answer is, anything you would like. There are some who feel most comfortable in their “Sunday best.” You will see some in ties and dresses (not usually both at the same time). There are others in jeans. By and large, those in the early service usually dress a bit more formal, while those in the late service are more casual. We believe that you should dress as you feel comfortable and in a way that facilitates your worship.

How do I become a member?

Everyone is welcome at First Baptist Church. Membership is a commitment that we encourage you to make if you attend First Baptist on a regular basis. Click here to read more about membership.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking on all sides of the church. The largest parking lot is on the east side of the church.

Who is preaching this week?

On most weekends our pastor, Wade Allen, preaches. We sometimes have a guest speaker.

What times are the worship gatherings?

We have two gathering times to worship together on Sundays. The Early Gathering begins at 9:15 a.m. The Late Gathering begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday school classes are at the same time as the services: 9:15 and 10:45. There is an all-church fellowship time from 10:15-10:45 in the lower auditorium (below the sanctuary on the lower level).

For children’s classes, read the children page. For information about children’s class times, check out the community page.
