Our kids began school a few weeks ago. Our house is back on schedule with kids in bed earlier; my sleep schedule is much improved. The air is a bit cooler with fall just around the corner. The pews are a bit more crowded as summer vacations are winding down. September is a great month.
The Summer
As a church, we continue to seek God’s leading in new ways. The summer has given us time to experiment in new ventures. Poverty training, a poverty simulation, hosting an OPT dinner, giving away school supplies, providing Muncie mission meals, and hosting the BSU soccer team are a few ways; we have been busy.
Acts Series
In worship, we continue to journey through Acts. We are learning, growing as we observe the Holy Spirit’s movement in the first century–realizing the Spirit moves in like ways today. The Spirit prompts, leads and equips us to proclaim the gospel in similar ways today.
I would love to hear how God is using the series in your life. How has the series been helpful to you? What is the Spirit teaching you in this study?
