In Acts 8, Luke relates the experience of Philip. Philip, being dispersed by the stoning of Stephen, travels to Samaria. He then follows an angel’s leading toward the Gaza highway. In both experiences, he finds the Spirit already at work. He simply obeys the promptings of the Spirit, bringing the gospel to unlikely people.
