The work of Jesus transforms our own agenda and plans.  In Acts 9, Saul is on his way to destroy the church; yet God rescues him from his tirade and transforms him into his agent.  His life will never be the same.  Acts 9</p>

He then follows an angel&#8217;s leading toward the Gaza highway.  In both experiences, he finds the Spirit already at work.  He simply obeys the promptings of the Spirit, bringing the gospel to unlikely people.  Wade walks us through the story of Philip as we continue our study in the book of Acts.  Acts 8</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Luke tells four foundational stories beginning in the sixth chapter of Acts.  The first story is of Stephen.  While this story may seem tragic, God uses his martyrdom to spread the gospel beyond the borders of Israel.  Wade describes the scene of Stephen before the religious leaders and considers his courage and strength.  Filled by the power of the Spirit, Stephen proclaims the message of Jesus.  Acts 6-7.</p>
