The psalmist proclaims that God has accomplished a mighty work that opens gates. No one anticipated God using a perceived rejected stone as the foundation for salvation history. Yet this is how it all worked out. This Easter, we explore words written nearly 1000 years before the resurrection. Still these words articulately describe what happened on Easter morning.

We have insight into David’s heart during this period. Psalm 51 records his response to God after being confronted by Nathan. As we explore this text, we find characteristics of true repentance and true restoration. Psalm 51:1-12
